THE WORLD’S MOST TRAVELED AND COSMOPOLITAN BUTTERFLY: Vanessa cardui
This species of butterfly Vanessa cardui known as “cardera” is a butterfly that is present in the whole planet, and widely distributed in the Iberian Peninsula.
Individuals have been cited in the Arctic Circle and the Antarctic, an exceptional phenomena in butterflies.
This cosmopolitan butterfly makes an impressive migration of 4000km and is able to cross seas and deserts for days on end with out resting.
